Born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, Musk had a curious mind from a young age. His father, Errol Musk, was an electromechanical engineer and Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, was a beautiful model and dietitian.
At the age of 17, Musk moved to Canada to attend Queen's University, where he studied physics and economics. After graduation, he started his first company, Zip2, which provided city guides for newspapers.
Zip2 was eventually sold for $307 million, and Musk went on to co-found PayPal, an online payment system that would revolutionize the way people transfer money online. PayPal was sold to eBay for $1.5 billion, and Musk became a millionaire at the age of 31.

In 2003, Musk founded Tesla, a company that aimed to revolutionize the automotive industry by producing electric cars that were not only environmentally friendly but also stylish and powerful.
